TeErra is a dynamic marketing professional and educator with a passion for storytelling, empowerment, and connection. Her career spans corporate finance, education, and global entertainment marketing, with past roles at JPMorgan Chase, KIPP SoCal, Uncommon Schools, and STARZ/Lionsgate. She also founded X-STEP LLC, an organization dedicated to building confidence and sisterhood through step.

Beyond her career, TeErra is an avid chess player, fitness enthusiast, and thrill-seeker who finds joy in ziplining, jet skiing, and hiking the Hollywood Hills. Whether she’s strategizing over a chessboard or chasing the next adventure, she thrives on curiosity, challenge, and movement.

TeErra believes that access, exposure, and encouragement can change the trajectory of a young person’s life. Her own journey—from cheer camps in the Bay Area to a career that’s taken her across the globe—has shown her the power of confidence, community, and opportunity. Now, through Change Summer, she is committed to creating spaces where kids can dream bigger, explore freely, and see themselves as the next generation of leaders. For TeErra, this isn’t just a job—it’s a calling to be the change she once needed, and to help young people step boldly into their futures.

TeErra earned her B.A. in Political Science with a Spanish minor from Spelman College.
